Zhejiang Energy Group Leadership Adjusted: Hu Zhongming Appointed as Party Committee Member and Secretary


On the morning of December 29, Zhejiang Energy Group held a leadership adjustment meeting, during which the Zhejiang Provincial Committee announced its decision to reshuffle and strengthen the group's leadership team. Hu Xuyang, Deputy Minister of the Organization Department of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Feng Bosheng, Secretary and Director of the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, chaired the session.

At the meeting, Feng Bosheng read out the provincial party committee's decision on adjusting and strengthening the leadership team of Zhejiang Energy Group: Comrade Hu Zhongming was appointed as a member and secretary of the Zhejiang Energy Group Party Committee, while Comrade Tao Xiaodong was named a member of the Party Committee. Hu Zhongming was also nominated for the positions of director and chairman of Zhejiang Energy Group. Meanwhile, due to age-related reasons, Comrade Tong Yahui was relieved of his duties as a member and secretary of the Zhejiang Energy Group Party Committee, and it was proposed that he no longer serve as chairman or director of the group.

Xu Qinglu, Director of the Third Division of Cadres at the Organization Department of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee, and Li Chunliu, Deputy Director of the same division; Huang Bo, Member of the Party Committee and Director of the Enterprise Leadership Division at the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission; as well as members of the leadership team, deputy chief engineers, heads of various departments, and key officials from Hangzhou-based units of Zhejiang Energy Group attended the main conference venue.

At the meeting, Hu Xuyang fully affirmed Zhejiang Energy Group's significant achievements over the past few years. He pointed out that this adjustment was a carefully considered decision made by the Provincial Party Committee after thoroughly considering various opinions, conducting comprehensive evaluations, and engaging in extensive deliberations—always keeping the bigger picture and practical realities in mind. He urged everyone to grasp the decision accurately, deeply understand its implications, and actively implement it in their daily work.

Hu Zhongming delivered a statement, expressing his commitment to upholding unwavering political loyalty, firmly embracing the mission and responsibilities entrusted to him, continuously enhancing his learning capabilities, and maintaining integrity and廉洁 conduct throughout his tenure. Under the wise leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, as well as the Provincial Organization Department and the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, he pledged to stay true to the original aspiration, keep the mission firmly in mind, work diligently and pragmatically, foster innovation, and effectively implement the decisions and plans set forth by the provincial authorities. Guided by the important spirit of Minister Hu’s speech, he vowed to wholeheartedly fulfill his duties as Party Secretary and Chairman of Zhejiang Energy Group, serving as a capable leader who can unite and inspire the group's leadership team. Together with all the dedicated employees and cadres, he will steadfastly drive forward the construction of Zhejiang Energy into a modern energy enterprise, striving to build a cleaner, low-carbon, safer, and more efficient energy system. Ultimately, he aims to contribute even more significantly to our province’s ambitious goal of becoming a pioneering province in socialist modernization.

Zhejiang Energy Group General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Zhan Min, delivered a statement, pledging to firmly support the provincial party committee's decision and fully back Secretary and Chairman Hu Zhongming in his work. He emphasized his commitment to fulfilling his duties diligently, taking initiative and responsibility, and continuing to meticulously manage all aspects of operations and management as always—working together to uphold the healthy political environment and positive working atmosphere within the Zhejiang Energy system.

This meeting was held simultaneously at the group's main venue and at sub-venues across various units. Deputy members of the leadership teams from units based in Hangzhou, as well as members of leadership teams from units not located in Hangzhou, attended the meeting at their respective sub-venues.
