The device is primarily used in fully mechanized mining faces in coal mines and serves as a complementary product for the ZPC-12 shearer's spray-based dust suppression system. Powered by high-pressure air from the working face, the device mixes a dust suppressant with water in a specific ratio within a tank. This mixture is then thoroughly blended by a high-pressure pump station, generating an abundant foam that is sprayed out through the dust suppression module nozzles to blanket the dust source. The foam enhances dust suppression efficiency by increasing contact and adhesion with airborne particles via inertial impaction, diffusion, and adhesive forces, ultimately delivering superior dust control performance.

The system consists of a high-pressure unit, a water source filtration system, piping, rotating spray nozzles, and supporting poles. The high-pressure unit pressurizes the water, which is then delivered through pipes to the rotating spray nozzles. These nozzles atomize the high-pressure water into tiny droplets, creating a fine mist that is evenly dispersed into the air. As the water mist particles come into contact with airborne dust and other pollutants, they effectively capture, aggregate, and settle these contaminants, ultimately achieving the goals of dust suppression and air purification.
